ANDRES
DE LOS SANTOS SUAREZ

I decided to embark on the Fashion Design & Management Master’s program with the aim of completing my academic training and gaining more direct access to the fashion industry. After carefully evaluating different options, I chose this program due to its strong academic offer and excellent industry partnerships. It stood out clearly from its competitors, not only for the quality of its curriculum and corporate agreements, but also for its highly competitive cost.

The opportunity to move to Milan was a key part of the experience. Living there allowed me to connect with people from all over the world and to learn directly from industry professionals who taught the courses. This ensured that the content was closely aligned with current market needs and professional realities. Every subject had a clear purpose, was comprehensive in scope, and highly valuable from a learning perspective. Several courses also included cultural visits, giving us the chance to explore different parts of Italy and better understand its cultural and creative heritage.

One of the most significant moments of the program for me was the Career Week and the job placement opportunities it offered. Seeing so many companies show interest in my profile for design placements was extremely motivating. I ultimately chose Kiton in Naples, a giant of Italian luxury, a company we had studied in depth and around which we had developed several projects focused on its business model. Following this experience, I was offered a position at Karl Lagerfeld in Amsterdam, where I was able to further complete my training as an intern, in collaboration with Milano Fashion Institute.

Immediately after finishing the program, I received three offers from Inditex to start my career as a designer, which is where I am currently developing my professional path. Thank you, Milano Fashion Institute, for the education and the experience. It has truly been a dream come true.
